When you choose solid fabrics, don’t limit yourself to the 7 basic colors plus black.  Go for all those yummy shades of purple, blue and green!  Pick 2 border colors-the sample uses tan and a medium blue.  Then add all those solids that pop next to black! 

When I tell people the name of this quilt they usually start singing-“Hit the Road, Jack”.  I thought this was terribly convenient; just the reaction I was hoping for!  You might enjoy watching YouTube videos of this well-known song; I did.
